2009 Cadillac DTS

The 2009 Cadillac DTS sedan remains very similar to the 2008 model and is still Cadillac’s largest sedan on the market. This car was made to replace the Deville, which was losing its popularity near the end of its run. One noticible change from 2008 to 2009 is the exterior paint choices, which are Gray Flannel, Radiant Silver and Ocean Pearl Tricoat.

New Features:

  • Body Color Antennae for Radio
  • 17″ Chrome Tech Wheels
  • XM NavTraffic
  • Speed Limit Advisor
  • New Brake Rotors
  • OnStar 8.0
  • New Steering Wheel Logo
  • New Heating / Cooling Switches
  • New XM Satellite Display

Engine:

  • 4.6 Liter Northstar V8 – 275 HP
  • Also Available With 292 HP
  • MPG – 15 City / 23 Highway

The car itself is extremely large for its type and has a very smooth ride. The interior is also top of the line in luxury, matched by a powerful engine under the hood. Buyers looking for a vehicle of this type should be aware however, that although the car itself has many great features, it also has the worst fuel economy in the large car class, some modern safety options are not present and for the cost, is not the best buy for the money.
