Definitely A Leader In Its Class In Both Performance And Luxury
The Cadillac DeVille was replaced by the Cadillac DTS in 2006.
This move was to re-kindle the diminishing popularity of the luxury-defining DeVille, which had once been the leader in its class, but had currently lost its shine.
The very first sighting of the DTS was actually a broadcast of the second inauguration of President George W. Bush (January 20th, 2005), in which a limousine version of the DTS was used.

At the time no information on the car was available, it was kept very under wraps at that point in time, so not many noticed that it was the first sighting of an all new model from Cadillac. The car was released at the Chicago Auto Show in Februrary 9th, less than a month later.
The DTS had some big shoes to fill, especially to Cadillac lovers all over the country. But after taking a closer look you will realize that the cars are almost the same.
Other Information About The Vehicle
During the domestic journeys, Cadillac delivers the American presidential standards; the flood lights are mounted on the hood, and there are many impressive qualities, which are not to be seen on the other cars. The limousine was airlifted for domestic and intercontinental use primarily by US Air force too.
The car itself is extremely large for its type and has a very smooth ride. The interior is also top of the line in luxury, matched by a powerful engine under the hood. Buyers looking for a vehicle of this type should be aware however, that although the car itself has many great features, it also has the worst fuel economy in the large car class, some modern safety options are not present and for the cost, is not the best buy for the money.

The 2009 model remains very similar to the 2008 model and is still Cadillac’s largest sedan on the market. This car was made to replace the Deville, which was losing its popularity near the end of its run. One noticible change from 2008 to 2009 is the exterior paint choices, which are Gray Flannel, Radiant Silver and Ocean Pearl Tricoat.
